Jin is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) and a member of the Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP). She attained her BA in Psychology from Toronto Metropolitan University (previously Ryerson University) and a MDiv in Clinical Counselling from Tyndale University. Jin has a holistic approach to therapy and walks alongside each client with a hope of their flourishing psychologically, physically, mentally, socially and spiritually. She supports clients who are going through stressful life transitions, anxiety, depression, trauma (PTSD), relational tension, communication issues, and loneliness. She also addresses topics surrounding family conflict, marital concerns, culture related issues, interpersonal relationships, and faith (religion). In each session, she prioritizes that each client feels heard, understood, and safe. 

Jin uses modalities such as Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Attachment-Based Therapy Internal Family Systems and Narrative therapy in her practice. However, she uses an integrative approach that allows flexibility depending on the needs and personality of the client(s). Jin believes that the intricacy of a person should reflect their treatment plan. Therefore, various therapeutic models are reviewed according to their effectiveness for the client.

Jin works with Individuals including Teens, Adults, and Couples. She is fluent in Korean.

Jin's rate is $160 for a 50 minute individual counselling session and $200 for a 50 minute couples counselling session.
