Cassandra is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) member with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario. She received her BA in Psychology from The University of Guelph-Humber and a MA from Yorkville University.
Cassandra utilizes a collaborative approach to therapy with the client being the center of sessions. Cassandra’s goal within sessions is to be supportive and assist in fostering the clients growth mentally, socially, and psychologically. She provides support in anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship challenges, life transitions, career struggles, neurodivergent diagnosis’ (Attention Deficit Disorder, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, Autism etc), learning disabilities, and behavioural problems. Cassandra also has experience with family struggles, learning disabilities, behavioural problems, childhood trauma, loneliness, and women’s struggle. Within each session, priority is geared towards each clients comfortability. Cassandra’s hope is for client to feel safe to express their emotions, feel supported, and feel heard.
Modalities used within session are geared towards an eclectic approach with the base being in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and Compassion Focused. Utilizing an integrative and person-centered approach is of importance within a session. Cassandra believes that each person is in need of different support options and that is reflected within their treatment plan.
Cassandra works with Individuals including Children, Adolescents, Teens, and Adults.
Cassandra’s rate is $160 for a 50-minute individual session.
