After graduating from George Brown College in 2010 as a Community Worker/Social Service Worker, Maria began working with many Non-For Profit Organizations.

She provided clients in the GTA area with a wide range of support to suit their needs. Maria experienced working with children, seniors, at-risk youths, clients with disabilities, and abused women.

Over the years, Maria has facilitated many workshops, including Workshops on Employment, Mental Health, Self Esteem, and Nutrition. In addition, she hosted many events in entrepreneur business groups with over 4500 members.

Maria felt the need to advance her education by completing several Mental Health Certificate Programs to assist her clients better. Maria completed a Psychotherapy program with TAC, has certification on both levels in Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and completed a Counselling program in Addictions with Wilfrid Laurier University.

Maria then worked as a Psychotherapist with an Addiction Treatment Facility in the GTA specializing in Alcohol and Drug Addiction.

Maria specializes in CBT, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness and works with clients currently struggling with Anxiety, Depression, BPD, PTSD, Self-esteem problems, Relationship conflicts, and Addiction. She also works with couples and families having conflicts.

Maria is currently registered under the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers and registered with The College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario.
