Attachment-Based Therapy
Attachment-Based Therapy looks at early childhood relationships to determine how they have impacted you now. This approach explores how our childhood experiences have impacted our ability to create meaningful bonds in adulthood. This may address subconscious lingering issues from childhood that impact our relationships today.
Attachment-Based Therapy aims to build strong and trusting relationships between the client and others in their lives. This approach can be used in a multitude of settings including, individual, family, couple, and group therapy. It can also be used for both children and adults to help build strong family relationships.
Many people can benefit from Attachment-Based Therapy including those who were adopted, experienced foster care, those who experienced childhood trauma, children of divorced parents, those who experienced childhood abuse, and much more! Tara is one therapist that would be a good match for anyone looking for this modality.
Our clinic is here to help you with all your concerns! Creating security in your relationships is an area you can explore in therapy with the Attachment-Based Therapy approach.
