Now that the holidays are upon us Seasonal Affective Disorder is no stranger to us here in Vaughan, Ontario Canada. The season’s change and the lack of light and Vitamin D are a serious thing for us Canadians.

Seasonal Affective Disorder is a type of depression that is related to changes in the seasons, usually starts and ends at the same time.

During the winter months, you begin to lose energy, feel moody, losing interest in activities you used to enjoy, have problems sleeping, changes in appetite, weight gained, hard time focusing, feeling hopelessness and you can even have thoughts of suicide.

There are many things you can do to improve Seasonal Affective Disorder including going to the gym, light therapy, yoga, meditation, and psychotherapy. Tara and Hyunbin will have few strategies that can be shared if anyone is interested in a session with them.
